I do not accept or work directly with insurance for my services. However, if you have out-of-network benefits from your healthcare plan and wish to use those, I can provide you with a monthly statement or “Superbill”—upon emailed request—so that you are able to seek reimbursement from your insurance company. It is your responsibility to pay the session fee for services at the time they are rendered, regardless of your insurance arrangements.

My usual fee is $275 per 50-minute session. Other services (such as letter or report writing, telephone consultations, or meetings with other professionals you asked and authorized me to do, preparation of records or treatment summaries, etc.) are charged at a pro-rated fee, based on the time it takes me. Note: I raise my fees annually with reasonable advance notice.

Consistent, regular sessions are important for therapy to work, so once we agree on a weekly time, that slot is held for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, give me at least 48 business hours' notice (two business days) and I'll do my best to find another time that same week. Sessions cancelled with less notice — or that can't be rescheduled — are billed as missed.
The one exception: if it's an actual medical emergency for you or an immediate family member (an ER visit, urgent care, or an urgent pediatrician visit), there's no charge.

Not at all — it's who I work with most. You don't need the right words, a clear diagnosis, or a tidy explanation of what's wrong before reaching out. Most people start with "I don't really know how to explain this, but..." and that's a completely normal place to begin.

Yes. What you share in session is protected by the same confidentiality standards, laws, and ethics that govern all licensed psychological care, with the standard legal exceptions that apply to any therapist (imminent risk of harm to yourself or others, for example). Sessions are also conducted over HIPAA-compliant secure video, so the format itself is private too.

All sessions are conducted online via secure, confidential video — there's no physical office to visit. For most clients this is actually more convenient: no commute, no parking hassle, no waiting room, no rearranging your day around getting somewhere. You just block out the time for the session (50 minutes) and we begin.
Note: for safety and legal reasons, I'm not able to conduct sessions with clients who are driving. Pull over — then we can talk.

They overlap more than they're separate — most clients come in dealing with some combination of anger, anxiety, and strained relationships, and the "service" names mostly reflect what's showing up loudest for you right now. Anger Management focuses on managing reactive anger directly. Anxiety Therapy focuses on racing thoughts, physical symptoms, and avoidance. Men's Therapy is shaped around the specific barriers men often face in opening up. Parenting Coaching focuses on anger and reactivity specifically in the context of raising kids. If you're not sure which fits, don't worry about picking the "right" one — reach out and we'll figure it out together.
